How to choose an all-in-one SEO suite

Updated Oct 12, 2026.

Do I need a suite?

For your own site, start with Google Search Console, “a free service offered by Google” (Google Search Console Help). It shows which searches show your site and how often people click, whether Google can find and crawl your pages, problems Google finds and which sites link to yours (Google Search Console Help), along with Core Web Vitals and the structured data Google could read (Google Search Central).

A suite puts keyword research, rank tracking, site audits and more into one subscription. It earns its price when you’ll use several of those every month. If you need one job done, a tool for just that job may cost less. Each category page links to our price index, which sets starting prices side by side across categories.

Ask where a suite’s numbers come from

Search Console gives you all its information about a site once you verify that you own it (Google Search Central). When a suite shows search traffic or keywords for a site you don’t own, such as a competitor’s, ask how it gets those figures.

Price it at your size

Suites’ plans set limits on things like projects, tracked keywords, users and competitors per project, and some charge for each extra user. Where a suite’s plans state how many keywords they track, its pricing page here works out the cost at 100 tracked keywords. Every price says whether it’s billed monthly or is the monthly cost of a yearly plan, and the day we checked it.

Check the feature you need is on the plan you’d buy

A suite’s pricing page here lists what each plan includes and its limits, as the vendor listed them on the day we checked. Before you buy, check that the feature you need comes with the plan you can afford, not only with a higher one.

Keep Search Console either way

Search Console emails you when it finds new issues on your site, and Google suggests checking it around once a month (Google Search Central). It costs nothing, so keep it running alongside any suite.
