Advertise on SMB SEO
Small businesses come here to choose SEO tools by price and fit. Each category has two paid spots, one tool each, and the maker of any tool we list can claim its listing. All three are labeled, and none changes our rankings, scores or lists.
Prices and terms last changed Oct 27, 2026.
Featured spot
$299/mo billed monthly
At the top of your category’s page, above the tools. Everyone who opens the category sees it, unless they filter to a platform your tool doesn’t run on.
Sponsored result
$99/mo billed monthly
Above the results when a site search names your category, and above the home page’s tools when a visitor picks your category. Only visitors on a platform your tool runs on see it.
Sponsor your tool
Not listed yet? Listing is free, and a tool needs a listing before it can be sponsored: email company.reviews.marketing@gmail.com.

What a sponsored spot looks like
Example only. Both spots use the same card, with your listing’s name, summary and price.
Claimed listing
$600/yr billed yearly
For the company that makes a tool we list. While the claim is live, the tool’s page:
- says “Claimed by” your company, and its card and comparisons say “Claimed”;
- sends Visit site to the page you choose on your tool’s domain;
- adds Start free trial and Book a demo buttons, if you set links for them;
- shows you, each month, how often its page was opened and each button followed, next to the average for the tools in its category.
You sign in with a link we email to your address at the tool’s domain, then pay by card through Stripe. The buttons carry rel="sponsored", and the page says beside them that you pay for the listing.
What money can’t buy
- A score, a test result or a “Tested” label. The only labels money buys are “Sponsored” and “Claimed by”, and they say so.
- A place in a ranking, a best-for list, the SEO stack finder or the order of agencies, or a better one.
- A review, a look at a review before it’s published, or a change to what we write, the prices we show or our sources.
- A followed link: every paid link, a sponsor’s or a claimed listing’s, is marked
sponsored.
Only tools we list can be sponsored, and we don’t take sponsors that sell followed paid links or that our lists leave out. We don’t sell newsletter sponsorships, and joining a vendor’s affiliate program doesn’t change its listing either. How we make money explains every way the site earns.
Terms for sponsored spots
- Each spot is a monthly subscription, billed in advance in US dollars through Stripe. No tax is added at checkout.
- Cancel any time by email from the address you paid with. Your spot stays up until the end of the month you’ve paid for, and partial months aren’t refunded.
- If two vendors pay for the same spot at the same moment, the second payment is refunded in full and its subscription cancelled, automatically.
- We can take a spot down, with a refund for the unused part of the month, if the tool’s listing can no longer stay on our lists or its vendor breaks these terms.
- We can’t promise a number of views or clicks: they depend on how many visitors fit your tool.
- A spot never changes a ranking, a score, a price we show or a list.
Terms for claimed listings
- A claim is a yearly subscription, billed in advance in US dollars through Stripe. No tax is added at checkout.
- Cancel any time from the billing page in your dashboard. The claim stays up until the end of the year you’ve paid for, and partial years aren’t refunded.
- Your links must be https pages on your tool’s own domain, and they must load. We keep them if the claim ends, and they come back if you claim the listing again.
- If two people claim the same tool at the same moment, the second payment is refunded in full and its subscription cancelled, automatically.
- We can end a claim, with a refund for the unused part of the year, if the tool’s listing can no longer stay on our lists or its maker breaks these terms. We can remove a link that leads somewhere other than the tool.
- A claim never changes a ranking, a score, a price we show, our sources or what we write about the tool, and we can’t promise a number of views or clicks.
Questions vendors ask
Does paying change where my tool ranks?
No. The spot sits outside the list, in a box of its own headed “Sponsored”. Your tool keeps its own place in the list, its score and its labels.
When does my sponsored result show?
When a site search names your category (“rank tracker for Shopify”), and on the home page when a visitor picks your category in the filters. If the visitor’s platform is one your tool doesn’t run on, they see no sponsored result, and nothing takes its place. It doesn’t show when your tool is already the first search result.
What if my category’s spot is taken?
It stays with its sponsor while they keep paying. Email us and we’ll tell you when it frees up.
Can I change what the page says about my tool?
No, a claim changes where the buttons go, not what we write. To correct a fact, email us with the page that shows it, and we’ll check it like any other.
Can I sponsor or claim a tool you don’t list?
No. Listing is free and comes first: we check the tool’s public prices and pages before it’s listed.
Who will see it?
Owners and small marketing teams of ecommerce stores, local businesses and other small businesses, choosing SEO tools. We don’t publish traffic figures yet.
